Gillis E. (Beau) Powell III, Esq.

Beau was born and raised in Crestview, Florida. In 2006 he graduated from Northwest Florida State College with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. In 2008, he graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. He attended Mississippi College School of Law and received his Juris Doctorate degree in 2011. He began his legal career with the State Attorney's Office, First Judicial Circuit, in Milton, Florida in 2011, where he practiced until founding Beau Powell, P.A., Attorney at Law in 2014. His areas of practice include: criminal defense, trial litigation, family law, and personal injury. Beau is a member of the Florida Bar, Florida Justice Association, Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Young Lawyers Division.​​

Bridget Graham, Esq.

Bridget Graham is a founding partner and attorney at Beau Powell, P.A. She practices criminal defense and family law. Over the last decade, Bridget has worked extensively as a criminal defense trial attorney. She has lectured at Pensacola State College in the areas of Health Care law and related topics. Bridget is passionate about criminal defense work, primarily the protection of individual's constitutional rights within the criminal justice system. She is also devoted to helping families through the difficult time of divorce and other family related issues, focusing on keeping families communicating for the betterment of their children. Bridget is a member of the Florida Bar, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Society of the Criminal Defense Bar. Bridget has specific memberships of the Florida Bar in Criminal Law, Family Law, Trial Lawyers, and Young Lawyer divisions.

Alexis Layberger

Alexis was born and raised in Pensacola, FL. In 2018 received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a focus in Pre-Law, where she received an award for her Capstone research project focused on the relationship between political funding for mental health and crime rates, and a minor, with honors, in Spanish from the University of Southern Mississippi.

In 2022, Alexis received her Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law.

During law school, Alexis received awards for Dean’s List as well as the Women’s Student Bar Association. During law school, she interned at the at the Office of the Public Defender and at Beau Powell, P.A.

MacKenzie Carter

A lifelong resident of Milton, Florida. MacKenzie graduated from Milton High School in 2018. She is currently attending Pensacola State College with a focus on Paralegal Studies. MacKenzie, handles client intake, billing, and assists in the discovery process.

Angela Perry

Angela grew up in the Pensacola/Milton area and graduated from Milton High School in 2001. She attended Kaplan University majoring in Paralegal with a specialty in criminal defense. She has been pursuing her passion of criminal justice since 2014. Angela is the litigation paralegal to both Beau Powell and Bridget Graham, specializing in Criminal Defense.

Abby France

Abigail France is a lifelong resident of Florida. She has 17 years legal experience in both public and private sectors. Abigail has worked directly for judges, magistrates, public defenders, and private attorneys. Prior to working in the legal field, Abigail enjoyed her experience as a teacher’s aide at the Pensacola Private School of Liberal Arts for 9 years. She has an Associate Degree in English from Pensacola State College and is presently a junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in legal studies at the University of West Florida. In her free time, she enjoys watching MMA, reading literature, and spending time with her family.

Colleen Kelley

Originally from New Hampshire, Colleen moved to Florida in 2006. She attended Saint Anselm College and Southern New Hampshire University. Colleen handles the residential and commercial closings through Powell Title Company and assists in Human Resources and Office Management at Beau Powell, P.A.

She enjoys reading, spending time with her dogs, and exploring the beautiful Florida coast whenever she can.
